With its enchanting views, its landscapes between lake and mountains that are wild and sweet and the same time, Tremosine sul Garda is the perfect set for commercials, films and music videos.
Over the years, several directors have chosen the villages of Tremosine sul Garda and the Strada della Forra as a location for their work.
Tremosine sul Garda in films
The most famous is certainly the James Bond movie "Quantum of Solace", filmed in 2008 around Lake Garda and partly along the spectacular Strada della Forra.
The 22nd movie of the James Bond saga gave viewers a glimpse of the lake, of the Forra, up to the Gardesana south of Torbole, the setting of one of the high-speed chases opening the film. In the sequence, we see the famous actor Daniel Craig driving an Aston Martin that darts across a tunnel: the scenes outside the tunnel were filmed right near the Strada della Forra.
The spectacular road, famous for its twists connecting Campione to Pieve, was also featured in the 2009 film "The International", by Columbia Picture.
TV Commercials
Car manufacturers often choose breathtaking roads and landscapes surrounded by the blue of the lake and the sky as a backdrop for TV commercials.
The commercials of the new BMW 5 series were shot in 2017 between Tignale, the Gardesana and Toscolano.
Mercedes also filmed a famous commercial between the Strada Gardesana, the Strada della Forra and the Tremosine sul Garda plateau.
One of the most famous commercials is the one for Seat Leon, dated 2011, starring the famous motorcycle rider Loris Capirossi - it was filmed entirely along the Strada della Forra.
We can not fail to mention another German car manufacturer, Audi, that in Italy has shot the wonderful commercial “Italia – Land of Quattro”, featuring breathtaking views of the Gardesana, between Tignale and Riva, next to the mountain landscapes of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Recently, the Campagnolo bicycle manufacturer has also chosen the Brasa torrent gorge as a set to launch its new bikes.
Music videos in Tremosine sul Garda
Several Italian singers have chosen Lake Garda as a location for their music videos: specifically, Tremosine sul Garda was chosen by singer Alessandra Amoroso, who in 2016 shot the video clip of her song “Comunque Andare” between Pieve di Tremosine sul Garda and the Forra.
In the video, we see the singer walking along the wildest stretches of the gorge, as well as footage showing the landscape that can be enjoyed from Tremosine sul Garda, with views of the Monte Baldo and Lake Garda.
Greta chose Tremosine sul Garda and Tignale as the location for the video for the 2013 single "L'estate".
